I hold a PhD (2018) degree in Computer Science from AGH University of Science and Technology.

I hold a Master of Science (MSc, 2013) degree in Computer Science from AGH University of Science and Technology.
I hold a Master of Arts (MA, 2016) degree in Psychology from Jagiellonian University.

Currently I hold a position of Assistant Professor at Jagiellonian University.

My research activity focuses on:

• the development of affective HCI/BCI interfaces (based on multimodal fusion of signals and contextual data)
• methods for processing sensory data (including semantization of such data)
• and the development of knowledge-based systems (in particular knowledge graphs and semantic web systems).

• [2020.08.28] — I will present two papers on recent affective research during workshops @ECAI 2020. On 29th August, I will outline our framework for affective games-based experiments @MRC 2020. On 8th September, I will discuss our 2nd BIRAFFE dataset @HAII workshop. • [2019.10.10] — I was invited (together with Grzegorz J. Nalepa and Szymon Bobek) to deliver a talk at a seminar in Engineering Design Centre, Cambridge. The presentation entitled Can a machine understand how you feel by watching you? will take place on October 23, 2019.
